BodyDetox24 facilitates body cleansing and stimulates elimination of accumulated toxins. BodyDetox24 provides 6 plant extracts and 6 other natural ingredients.

Active Ingredients – Plant Extracts

  • Pumpkin seed extract (Cucurbita pepo) is a rich natural source of fatty acids with linoleic acid various plant sterols and sterol glycosides, a cyclic non-protein amino acid, cucurbitine, as well as tocopherols. Pumpkin seeds are a very good source of the minerals. A pumpkin diet improves both liver and kidney function. Extract has been used against cadmium toxicity. It has natural anti-inflammatory properties. Pumpkin seeds contain phytosterols, compounds that that have been shown to reduce levels of LDL cholesterol. It has a soothing effect on the stomach as well as the entire digestive tract.

  • Papaya fruit extract (Carica papaya) helps to increase glutathione body level[1]. Glutathione is the most powerful naturally occurring antioxidant in our body. The highest concentration of glutathione is found in the liver, making it critically important in the detoxification and elimination of free radicals. Papaya extract itself has strong antioxidant activity and protects from liver damage that may be caused by released toxins and free radicals during the detoxification process[2,3]. It is a source of papain, a protein-digesting enzyme that is an excellent aid to digestion. During the BodyDetox24 program, papaya fruit extract will improve the transit of nutrients to various parts of the body and assist with the expulsion of various toxins from the system. Research has demontrated that Papaya has antioxidative properties and also reduces lipids peroxydation[4].

  • Lemon fruit extract (Citrus limon) has positive influence on cholesterol and lipids metabolism and also helps to increase the glutathione level in cells. Scientists believe that lemon extract also supports liver function[5],

  • Flaxseed extract (Linum usitatissimum) is a rich source of essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, lignans and vegetable mucilage. This ancient grain has become a modern miracle food. Studies suggest that the omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseed may help to lower blood fat levels and blood pressure. Flaxseed also appears to be able to help to heal the inner lining of the intestines and to facilitate the passing of stools through the bowel tract.

  • Oat extract (Avena sativa) is a natural source of β-glucan and arginine - an aminoacid that plays an important role in cell division, the healing of wounds, removing ammonia from the body and that helps in the release of hormones. It also supports bile and cholesterol secretion[6]. Bile secretion is the main excretion route for toxins, cholesterol and lipid wastes. β-glucan enhances the immune system.

  • Angelica root extract (Angelica sinensis) shows multilateral activity; i.a. it can activate the Kupffer cells in liver that eliminate cellular waste[7]. Angelica extract also supports function of hepatocyte - liver main cell[8,9],

Other Active Ingredients

  • Xylitol — natural sweetener, it belongs to polyols, alcohols containing multiple hydroxyl groups, widely used as sweeteners. It is usually produced from a sugar maltose from birch juice or grains of cereals (e.g. corn). It is a fully natural compound. One gram of xylitol provides many fewer calories as compared with sugar so it is recommended to people on weight reducing diets or aiming to keep optimal body weight. Additionally it prevents dental caries. A larger amount may produce a light laxative effect.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar — is a natural preparation that supports metabolism, slimming course and body cleansing. It provides mineral complex and natural acetic acid. It improves kidney and GI tract functions and regulates several biological processes helping to improve metabolism, reduce body weight and tiredness feeling. It increases oxygen level in blood and actively supports combustion of food.

Citric Acid — acidity regulator, called also citrus salt (Sal Essentiale Citri), is widely represented in plants, as acid or in a form of salt. It is present in many fruits, and particularly in lemon fruit. Moreover, citric acid is present in small quantities in all living species. Citric acid has antioxidant activity, forms complexes with heavy metals and alkaloids that accelerate their spontaneous oxidation (which can be used as antidote in case of alkaloid’s intoxication). It also facilitates calcium absorption in digestive tract. It is also widely used as acidity regulator.

Epsom Salt — called also bitter salt it is magnesium sulphate. Epsom salt when applied orally works as laxative and cholagogue agent. It works in both small and large intestine. Salt attracts water and keeps it in the bowel lumen thereby increasing inter-intestinal pressure. It also softens the stools and increases bowel movement. It also stimulates cholecystokinin release, which promotes bile, pancreatic juice and digestive enzymes secretion and stimulates contraction of gall bladder and bile release and at the same time relaxation of sphincter Oddi, while other laxatives constrict this sphincter and reduce bile and pancreatic juice secretion. Magnesium consumption has a positive effect on the reduction of the level of heavy metal in the body[12,13,14] and increase of energetic level of cells.

Aloe (leaves powder) — powdered aloe leaves have healing properties that have been known and used for thousands of years. Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe vera) has been used for centuries in Indian Ayurvedic medicine, in traditional folk medicine and in natural medicine. Among the active ingredients are aleorides which support digestive health, digestion and intestinal function. They have a laxative and choleretic effect, for which aloe is a frequent component of natural laxatives. Moreover, polysaccharides in aloe extracts, such as glucomannan and acemannan, show the immune system supporting effect. Aloe preparations are weidly used in cosmetology for the treatment of skin acne and for the care of all hair types (eliminate dandruff, strengthen hair and prevent hair loss). They also act as a natural antiperspirant, supporting healing of various skin lesions.

Non-active Ingredients

Silicon Dioxide —  it is amorphous silica used as an additive and anticaking agent signed as E 551. This type of food additive prevents foods from caking or sticking together in clumps. This may help ensure a product’s shelf life, protect against the effects of moisture, and keep powdered ingredients from sticking together and helping them flow smoothly. Safety: (1) European Food Safety Agency review (2) Food and Drug Administaration in the United States also regulate how companies use silica in food.
